Variegated Swedish ivy
* Common name: Variegated Swedish ivy
* Botanical name: Plectranthus coleoides
* What it is: A trailing annual vine with leaves of green and white or green and gold.
* Size: 10 to 12 inches tall, 18 to 24 inches wide
* Where to use: Best as trailing plant to hang down from hanging baskets or large pots. Lights up shady spots but can also take sunny spots.
* Care: In a pot, keep soil damp and snip off any shoots that go where you don’t want. An occasional light dose of a balanced container fertilizer is fine. Not a heavy feeder.
* Great partner: Red coleus or ‘Dragon Wing’ begonia.
