Angelonia Serena series
* Common name: Angelonia Serena(TM) series
* Botanical name: Angelonia angustifolia
* What it is: An upright annual flower that produces multiple spikes lined with dainty, orchid-like flowers. Although these “summer snapdragons” look dainty, they’re very tough in heat and drought. Series comes in white, pinkish-lavender, purple and a blend of all three.
* Size: Most compact angelonia yet… only 15 to 18 inches tall and wide.
* Where to use: Great in pots or any sunny flower bed.
* Care: Prefers damp, rich and well drained soil. Needs no deadheading or spraying but flowers best with a shot of high-phosphorus fertilizer every few weeks, especially in pots.
* Great partner: White and purple ones are perfect with pink shrub roses.
