Begonia Dragon Wing
* Common name: Begonia Dragon Wing(R)
* Botanical name: Begonia
* What it is: A trouble-free annual flower with gorgeous, glossy, red-tinged, pointed leaves and hanging red flowers all summer. ‘Dragon Wing Pink’ has the same leaves but hanging pink flowers.
* Size: 16 inches tall, 18-20 inches wide
* Where to use: Fantastic in pots and hanging baskets but also durable and showy in the ground, even around trees if kept watered. Does well in wide range of light from shade to nearly full sun, although morning sun and afternoon shade is ideal.
* Care: Fertilize every 2 weeks with a balanced fertilizer for maximum bloom. Damp soil is best, but this is a tough plant in heat, drought and poor soil. It’s also animal-, bug- and disease-resistant.
* Great partner: Showy enough to go solo. Add variegated ivy to a basket if you must.
