Good article. You share many of my horticultural values. I left you another email on your site. I love annuals and use them in certain places. I use the easy perennials like Echinacea that don't need lots of care. I get tired of customers just using bush roses, peony, bearded iris, daylily, hosta, and mums. I am alos tired of the over-abundance of Japanese Maple, Flowering Dogwood, Oriental Cherry, Burningbush, Evergreen Azaleas, Rhododendrons,Japanese Holly,Japanese Pachysandra,Red Japanese Barberry, Goldmop Falsecypress,Butterflybush, and other Home Depot plants. Give me other orn trees, Viburnum, Witchazel, Winterberry, Chokeberry,Summersweet, plants that are neat, clean, without thorns or spines, and have pretty bark and good fall color, not just flowers.
